We'll address that issue if we do indeed discover it's going to be closed.

 

Lawton is the guy that lives there and runs the place. Make sure you talk to him. I want to say that their web site is hardly ever updated?

Another FYI.... Some of the members from TTR where just there this past weekend, a work weekend for cleaning and rebuilding trails, and alot of trails are tougher now with all of the rain. One of my friends mentioned something about a 6-7 foot drop or climb where there shouldn't be on one of the trails? If the trail is rated a 2 diamond it will more than likely be a 3-4 now. Some 3's are unpassable now. I'll post some pics later, from the work weekend, after I get home from work.

 

I'm going to try. It would be nice to meet some of you guys. Having more friends with the same interest and being able to learn about this stuff is always a PLUS!

 

hmm, i hate the smell of problems in the afternoon. Hopefully it will all work out, if not. Hidden Falls would be my vote, its closer and should be open that weekend anyways. We will just have to see what goes on. And sean, I wanna follow you up wildcat stairway lol. I reached the one part of to the left and didnt tackle it. I would try if i had another truck that could get all the way up there with me though.

 

Nice Sean you should tried the bowl lol jk. The part I was talking about was actually closer to the beginning. It is when you have to turn left out of the ravine thing and then it quickly turns right again.

 

Still not it lol. This is once you're already on the wildcat trail and then you have to take a left on the trail. Ill look for some pics when I get back from class

 

They say it sould be re-open by then and that it will be open to the public that weekend.

I too would rather get there late at night than warly in the morning. Just have to work out all the details.

If yall are planning to get out there late friday night, I'll drive out too and hang out since my gf is leaving for dallas that night as well.

yeah, it'll be a five hour drive for me as well if I can make it. There's a possibility I might not go depending on money issues.

Hey yall, I just realized that I dont think that I am going to be able to make it That is the weekend before just about EVERYTHING is due for me at school. 3 different papers all about 15 or so pages each. Sorry yall, I really hate missing these meets, they are so much fun! lol
