I have a 2015 Tacoma. I put on the ToyTec 3" lift with 33 toyo A/T. I have confirmed that the tires aren't the problem making the noise and the lift was put on correctly. I spoke with Toyota today about looking at it because it still makes a "wu wu wu wu" noise while driving at 45 mph or lower. It also vibrates and you can feel it in the floor and the steering wheel. I called Toyota today and spoke to a service rep and he said that any lift PERIOD that isn't factory needs a "carrier bearing" drop kit and the noise and vibrations would go away. Any one had these problems?

45 and slower a "wu wu wu" noise that does not match tire turns or anything else's speed. Then the vibrations match the sound.?

I installed the CB drop when I installed the kit. Can't say that it fixed any vibes I had but I have zero vibes

3" lift kit, complete sound system, more to come..... just got this truck
I had a problem with my carrier bearing on my 2001 Tacoma. Mine had a bad shake when I let off the clutch and made the same sound.

I have read different threads but what I read and what the Toyota rep says kinda match. He said he has worked on at least a dozen in the last year matching everything I described. I ordered the drop kit and will have it on soon and will post an update. Wish I would have waited because im freaked out and Toyota is telling me my warranty is void.

I have argued with them. When I got my service done a few days ago the rep at a different dealer walked out and before I said what I was there for she said " I hope you understand when you lifted that you voided your warranty." I never told her what I was there for she just came at with me with that.

Ask him about pinion angle and see what he says.

That's what she said but when I called to set up the apt days before her boss said that it sounds like I did a level kit instead of a lift kit. Its a 3 lift in the front and an add aleaf in the rear. They literally gave me 100 reasons why I fucked up and lifted it instead of trying to help me find the noise.

    Suggestion
Why not talk to the folks you bought the kit from, perhaps they could provide some insight.

Cuz its better to have people guess over the internet with a wide range of truck experience.

I've had 2 alignments trying to run the issue down and that isn't it. No I didn't add them.

Not sure if your case would be the same but I've installed 2 of these (stacked on one another) and it helped a lot more than just the 1.
