Yes, he did Icon Progressive add a leaf and the 2.0 shocks with resi's in the back. Chris definitely did it right.

If you take into consideration that the off road models are sold with 265/70 and 16's, when you then install 285/70, u gain the extra inch of rubber on the sidewalls, so u can put a 17 on a 285 and still have the same sidewall rubber as a 16 on 265. So if 16 on 265 manages perfectly fine when aired down, shouldn't 17's on 285 work just as well?

I'm in the camp of smaller is better because with the same size tire and smaller wheel you're going to get more sidewall bite when aired down. I have 16s on my 2010 and 15s on my 84.

I'm PC now. All tires and all wheel sizes are of equal value and deserve equal treatment. Please disregard my previous hateful statement that marginalized larger wheel sizes on off-road trucks.

This will be the exact route we go with next spring. Has a perfect stance and from what I hear a nice solid and comfortable ride. 5100s will hold tight for now, but the plan is for a much nicer suspension upgrade down the road.

Yeah, Chris did a GREAT job with this truck. Nothing too over the top, just a really good quality solid build. Whoever buys this is going to be very lucky.

3 in toytec lift, bolted right up no rubbing in wheel wells with 285/70r17 needs spacers though, rubs a tiny bit on control arms at full turn

Ha ha, I like it!! I just made some suggestions... Chris had the huevos to step up to the plate on a dealer pre-load. Basically doing all the stuff we would do, then putting it on the lot for sale.
