Does anyone have a video or picture guide on where to run an antenna cable for XM radio? I found a small grommet that I thought I could use and it puts me inside the cab right behind the glove compartment where I have the tuner sitting. I am not able to get the cable past the carpet. I would like to have my antenna outside the cab on the exterior of the truck but I am striking out. Any help would be much appreciated.

Why not try to put the antenna in the shark fin?

Unless I am missing something, my 2011 doesn't have a shark fin on the roof.

Wouldn't I still have to run the cord from outside the truck to inside of it?

Center of your dash close to your windshield would work fine, or next to the pillar close to the windshield. It doesn't have to be outside of the vehicle, unless you can't get any reception if its placed on the dash.

Do a search for "stealth XM antenna." It mounts your antenna under one of the bed rail caps, snakes the cable forward, then through a rubber plug in the back of the cab. Run the cable forward under your carpet. I did it and it works as well as the factory antenna on my wife's Camry. Best thing is, nothing shows.
