Yep...it appears that way. But most do want want to learn something to varying degrees. It's up to the teacher to make it relevant ....every day.

Anyone have a Thread they can point me towards about how to build and install a rear locker? my TRD sport does not come with one, do I even need one? or will My LSD button do the job?

there isn't an LSD button...its part of the traction control system.

if you don't plan on doing a lot of off roading you probably dont need it. you seem like you are unaware of what one really is...so you probably don't need it.

    probably wont need it.

best bet is go and make sure you go with friends. so if you get stuck you have some way of being recovered (also plan on how you will recover etc) and if you find after you get stuck you want to get into trails like that more often then get a locker.

I'm currently pricing it out. Found a reasonable deal on install at $750 each axle.
never really worked on diff enough to be comfortable doing it myself

If that's the only way you can get A-TRAC, then yes... Crawl Control is worth it! Heck, do you see how it extracts itself from the intentional bury in the sand? That is amazing, yes?
