All of our meals would float away...
I may be in, depending on where you guys choose. Not interested in a 3 hour one-way drive, lol. And I can't make it on a Saturday, because deer season.

So don't plan around me, haha!

Unfortunately with how far into the great state of Maine I live, it's a 90 minute drive on the highway for me to even get to the border in Portsmouth. Salem's over 2 hours. That's why I'm saying don't plan around me, because then everybody else is looking at a 2+ hour drive instead. :notsure:

I'm down for a meat and greet assuming I'm around that day.

I drove an manual transmission for the first time in my friend's 1992 Nissan Stanza XE on break at work. I couldn't get the clutch action down all the great but I was a natural at rowing the gears. I basically taught myself how to get moving in my Accord as I had purchased it, had it brought to my house by the used car lot and if I ever hoped to go anywhere, I had to learn.

I do miss dailying a stick, but I can't say that I mind it in traffic.

On a side note, I just ordered a new computer tonight, which I'm quite excited about. I thought about building one, but I just don't have the patience right now to deal with trying to figure out all the specifics and getting all the cables. Work has been absolutely nuts right now trying to get all my projects straight, so something plug and play will be terrific. I notice that my XP based netbook is an absolute snail these days and I ran into a huge issue with my iPhone / iTunes. The battery on my 5 swelled so I was able to get a new 5 for free from Apple. They updated the os to iOS 9.1 on me, which I had been avoiding on my old phone. iOS 9.1 requires iTunes 12.3 or higher. The last iTunes that was compatible with XP was either 11 or a version of 12.1. So basically I cannot recover the backup of my phone since I refuse to use iCloud. Apple released a version of iTunes specifically to interface between iOS 9.1 and Windows XP. I couldn't get it to properly install, which is not uncommon, but luckily for me it corrupted my current copy of iTunes, so no more music in the truck for me. That was basically the straw that broke the camel's back and I just grabbed a new PC. Still need a monitor and I'm going to eventually add more RAM and maybe a SSD for the OS for good measure.

I also finally got an estimate to demo the awful, awful island in my driveway and have it paved over. A friend of my wife's gave me an estimate to remove it and set it up with gravel/crushed stone as he works with decorate stone primarily and I basically just laughed when I saw the estimate. I got a second quote from an actual paving company to demo the island, pave the inside, repair the cracks in the driveway, widen the end by 1' and sealcoat it and it was still $1,000 less than the family friend's quote.

Billy can attest to how awful my driveway design is. I won't miss it one bit.

I can attest to how tight your driveway is, but I won't say if it's ugly or not. But if you say it's ugly, to hell with the island!
