    i found this pic...is it a long bed?

    im thinking of carrying 2 bikes on my 2009 short bed


    heres my friends bike and my bike on my uncles taco

    The first pic (Silver Taco) is a long bed. As far as the rear wheel on the tailgate goes, as long as the bike is securely strapped in, I don't seen any harm. I've seen anything from motorcycles to snowmachines on the tailgate. I personally would rather just get a small trailer, but that's because I don't want to let my bmw fall over while manhandling it into the bed. :D

    Interesting pictures! I thought that normally the restraint was supposed to fall behind the rear wheel, but I guess that proves you can use it either way. My friend uses one of those in his trailer and like it a lot.

    The reg cab, Access cab and DC LB are the same size beds(6ft). It's the DC SB that have the shorter beds.(5ft)
