Do you wear your belt with the tape at the back or the wrong way around ?

 

I'm a fan of an external vest to carry my tools.

 

The beltless system always looked to me like the pouches would be swinging too far forward and back as you moved around or bent over

 

Tape at back. One of my guys has it in the front and I don't understand how he can deal with it.

 

I had one like that. It was Kevlar and I had 40mm he dp rounds on it.

 

I'd like to see how it would while doing some roof framing, that would be the best test. If it felt uncomfortable or made my balance off then it would be a no go.

 

I tried in front, hated it.

This is the front runner so far, I think.

My bag of test weights actually has 60 lbs of weights - I forgot we picked up 2 additional 10 lbers last month. Weight capacity on this is 100 lbs.

I almost bought that same bag

 

They seem pretty nice, I've had a Husky bag before and it held up pretty good - I think I used it hard for 5 years before the bottom of the tool pouches started wearing through. Should be perfect for these weights, they largely sit on a shelf until they're needed which isn't too often, so should get a few years out of it. Price isn't bad either, looking forward to seeing one in the store and hopefully bringing it to work.

 

They are good bags , I have one of their gatemouth bags and I liked the wheeled bags , it just didn't have the storage layout I wanted for the tools I was planning to carry
