    get a second opinion?
go to any tyre shop and ask them to check the balance? See if they say the same?

Could even just be the machine.
I've put tyres on the balancer and have them say good, then run it again and they are no longer good. I know my mechanic usually runs them twice to make sure it wasn't a glitch or anything. Even when they aren't balanced once they put the weight they could have put it slightly off of where it was supposed to go. Unless they ran it again it won't be as good.

Honestly for the price of maybe $50 just bring it to a tyre shop and get them to check. If it comes back as bad you can go back to the dealer. Tell them run it on a different machine. I'm sure a dealer has more than one balancer.

It's pretty obvious when they put the spare tire on. It's a black steel wheel.

They finally determined it to be defective after trying to road force balance it unsuccessfully. New tire ordered

Isn't the carolla made here? I think the plant is in cambridge ontario.

Not sure if anyone on here will know of it or yourself OZ, but a few years ago there was a big article in the toronto star and the toronto sun cant remember what the guy had if it was Dodge or GM but had a rattle in the door, dealer kept telling him it was nothing he ended up taking it apart and found an empty whisky bottle in the door hahaha.

That does not sound good. That is the main reason I'm trading in my 15' Colorado for a Tacoma. Water don't get in my cab but it fills the driver side door seal and water pools between the seals on the door jamb or sill. I felt like someone kicked me in the gut 3 days after I paid over $25,000 cash for the truck we had a half inch rain the night before. I went out and opened the door and water ran out and pissed out of the door seal. Other than the door freezing shut this winter who knows what damage the thawing and then refreezing at night will do to the truck. I have had all the happy sappy B.S. from GM customer care that I can stand. Time for Collie to go to a new home.

I don't care what they say, I'd still feel better with a 5 vin number. Any way to enter this request when submitting an order?

well I've heard from other members, a majority of double cabs come from baja. Also when I ordered my taco, I had a choice between 040 and 1G3. Both had the same build dates of Dec. 8th. The 1G3 is definitely coming from baja, I don't know about the 040 (what I chose) but I'm guessing its coming from the same place since it has the same allocation date as the 1G3

Same tools, same processes and same materials go into building each truck. I wouldn't even put any thought into it personally.

I have heard from several dealers that Baja is pumping out a lot more trucks than Texas. Texas is lagging balls

Color matched door handles, Weathertech floor liners, bed mat, Durafit seat covers, tailgate clamp, 2016 TRD Sport 17" wheels with Yokohama Geolander AT tires , Toyota exhaust tip, Toyota/Yakima bike rail mount, Toyota wheel locks, Toyota hitch cover, Redline hood struts, unifilter on air pump.
Texas also has to build the Tundra, but that may have nothing to do with anything.

I'd still like to be able to say I own a truck "built in the USA"

While I'm sure the quality is likely the same, for a $40k truck, it's nice to be able to say it was made in America.

Would you all be saying the same thing if it was built in Japan instead of Mexico?
