Thanks Robert, I'm in West Seattle. What is the approximate install time?

Mondays and Tuesdays are a little hard. I can probably get off work around 3pm.

That's the downside with my schedule. Especially during these next few months.

With some experienced hands and the right tools, 4-6 hours without any issues? Maybe quicker? Give or take some bs time. I'm available weekends, however, I don't really have a place to work besides my driveway. I do have the tools needed. I just installed new upper control arms on my truck a few months ago.

You are looking at 4-8 hours probably. Always hard to give definitive answers to the time question as it depends how easy the UCA bolt comes out, if another bolt is being feisty, or any other sort of things.

Weekends are the best for me as long as the weather permits.

I'm hoping that all the bolts will be an ease. It's a 2015 with less than 4k miles.

Are those only blocks in the rear?

I meant in the new guys stuff. No AAL shown. Without any more than just a block in the rear, shouldn't take any time to install.

Take those last 2 and throw them as far away as you can. There are a couple of threads on here with some serious horror stories related to diff drops. The sway bar is really more my opinion but why pay the money for a quality suspension and restrain it with a sway bar, I have noticed a little more roll in corners without it but nothing you cant get used to and stiffen up with a few cranks on the coil-over.

The bolts that they are referring to are the Upper Control Arm (UCA) bolts. There is 1 long bolt on each side that holds the UCA to the mounts. Toyota Installs these before they drop the body on the frame which makes it really hard to get out. The wheel well gets in the way and most of the time, when you remove the bolt, it hits the body removing paint and sometimes denting that area.

I threw my sway bar out over a year ago and have not looked back once.

My buddy has a home shop similar to mine, he builds off road trucks and buggys in his spare time. I will ask if it's ok to pass along his number. Another great source out here is Stainless Brain Fabrication on fox island. Rob is the owner, cool guy, awesome work. Check them out on fb.

Aweosme Ill look into them. I have some welder buddies who could probably do it but trying to align schedules and all that has been a bit annoying. Been thinking it might just be easiest to take it to someone when its more convenient for me.

The Diff Drop is a 50/50 for me. Might help, might be worthless. I got mine when i ordered y kit (they tossed it in free) and didnt need it. @TacoSTIG has it now and not sure if he needed it either.

The Swaybar....that is a personal preference thing IMO. If you are doing mostly road driving and/or towing....id leave it on. Not like you are going to be flexing the suspension tons on the freeway anyways. If you plan to go on just forest service roads....again it can stay on. If you plan to do more wheeling...take it off!

Its all about figuring out how you are going ot drive the truck and what you want out of it. Best off road...take it off, want it to just be a smoother ride on the freeway...it can stay on.

I found the one thread about the downsides of the diff drop,

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/remove-the-differential-drop-on-your-05-tacoma.118545/

I'll take having to replace CV boots to seeing the inside of my diff on the trail any day.
