Bro...there are a ton of little details to deal with if you take the DB off so plan it all out in advance...

    1. You need all of the OE diff mounts and bolts.
    2. Buy a set of pre gusseted spindles from @glorifiedwelder
    3. You will need OE spindle bolts, the ones that go into the bottom of the spindle from the ball joint adapter. On my PC spindles they used SAE larger bolts and I had to make a hardware run for the correct metric size.
    4. Go ahead and do the TC cam tab gussets while the truck is apart...might as well do the coil bucket gussets too.
    5. You can't even drive your truck without cutting your fenders and flares and even after you cut your fenders your tires are going to rub your firewall like a 12 year old dry humping a pillow looking at his first playboy.
    6. You are going to need all new CO's you can't modify those Icons to fit.
    7. You have to figure out what you are going to do in the rear end and have leaves, shocks, flip kit etc etc all ready to go too...

Understood. I can get OEM hardware and I have old spindles. I have the TC cam tabs welded already. All the other stuff is just money and labor. I'm just thinking about what I would need IF I ever wanted to change directions (literally).

Thanks for the heads up though. Do you still have the 6 inch rear suspension set up pieces I was interested in? I just finished mounting the new front end last weekend. Next step is rear suspension....

Lol ....because I spent all my lotto winnings on hookers and blow. Stock housing is just fine for me, we did a small truss out past the seam too. Some day if I ditch the OE tank and go 4 link I would do a housing and disc conversion too.

A few audio upgrades, tinted windows, remote start because it f'n hot in Texas! 6in Fabtech DB lift, 17x9 Fuel Trophy wheels, 315/70/17 Duratracs,BAMF 80in sliders w/kickout, Prinsu cab rack w/30in Heretic light bar, custom bedside decals, custom hi-lift jack brackets, US Offroad front bumper w/winch, bed rack with RTT, CB, Short wave base station, Ultra gauge, color matched grille surround, an ungodly amount of recover gear, ARB fridge, hood struts, RotoPax, traction pads.
I will say that I have zero rubbing issues on my db lift. Maybe I'm in the 1% but I feel sorry for everyone that goes to 6in and has to cut everything. The ONLY thing I trimmed was my plastic inner wheel well about 4 inches.

I have been staring at these many pages for some time drooling over the trucks that grace this thread and I finally pulled the trigger and ordered a fabtech basic system. It will be installed next week!

Congrats! No matter what anyone else says, I love my FabTech lift. Two issues I have.

    1. There is a serve differance in braking distance. *You will get use to it.*
    2. The reason the Fabtech does not have rubbing issues is becasue it limits your turning radius. *Just be perpared.*
