    Hmmm... The dealer told me that it should be between Nov 14-19th. Their build date matched. I wonder why it's not showing anything else? Maybe they don't try to anticipate dates too far out.

    Hi Chris - my dealer had nothing - so placed an order after 5 weeks still not in system - then they swapped vehicles and told me mine was now 6 days out to Houston - saw vehicle and specs but does not have a vin number

    it shows up under their dealer ID number in system - but no VIN number - should they have a vin number since it shows up in system with their ID number

    I asked my dealer for the updated/permanant VIN number when it changed over from the temporary VIN and her response was

    "I personally have never seen a vin change once its assigned. But I will let you know if it does. "

    She is claiming that the VIN number that she gave me is the actual VIN, not a temporary.

    Me either, but to be fair they have a dozen models to keep track of and 3 variants of each of those. They are usually selling vehicles to people who don't research everything about the vehicle, they just know the general features of what they are looking for, so the salesman can wow them by knowing about a few cool tech features on the vehicle.

    Quick question. The dealer is showing the truck at the port on 10/23. The dealer daily thing that letsgoplaces shows "rail" arrival/etc. Is the "shipment to dealer" line when it leaves the port or what? Also, once the truck is at the port is it usually sent to the dealer via semi truck or train?
