So far I didn't need it, but we'll see what happens when the 35's go on. Figured it was worth having on hand as a possible fix if things were rough post lift.

Hey guys! I just ordered some Adjustable Bilstein 5100s and was curious if anyone has offers on helping me install them? None of the local shops are giving me reasonable deals ($250+).... I am in Eugene, OR! Willing to pay money/beer/food

    Thanks :)

Roof Top Tent. AirFlow Snork, smittybilt winch, 20" light bar.
It took Brian, Jerrad, and I about 4-6 hours to install my coilovers and ucs's. Through bolts are by far the most annoying part of it all. I imagine on a 2014 with 4k miles it would be a lot easier.

oh and i never used the diff drop, sway bar was scrapped, rear shims were also never used, and i still have stock front bumpstops.

The only thing I'm not seeing in that kit is ball joints? Or are they wrapped up with the ubolts?

I have them. Just wanted to take a pic of the main components. Too much boxes and plastic to unwrap.

Yeh, so after reviewing all the posts about the diff drop I'll definitely discard it. As for the sway bar...not too sure. I'll have to try it on and off as this is my daily driver as well.

I called a few shops in my area to see what a going rate would be to install this kit, but none of these local mechanics do any aftermarket installs. I would assume that it would cost around $400. Anyone available to help me in the near future?

You might have some better luck in the Oregon and Washington BS Thread. Its got a lot more Oregon people that post there. This thread tends to be more WA based

I went out there about 4 or 5 months ago. Didn't do anything too gnarly. Just got sliders on my truck a month ago.

Guess i didnt even find it entertaining. 5 miuntes of watching jeeps go 15 feet and get stuck in the same spot and have to winch out. Ok cool *yawn* Granted the guy did say they wanted to use it for winching practice but boring to watch.

    Shit on a black truck.
So I'm at quite a dilemma after more research for a lift. Im doing about 3" with 33's. I was looking at the bilstein 5100's and whatever I need to accomplish that or possibly rough country as I have seen trucks that look good with them. Im also willing to spend the money for something nice if it makes the ride that much better as I have also read its "day and night". I have read the stuff and know what the components are uca, coilover, AAL, blocks ect. but dont know brands or quality and what a decent price for what is. Im also looking for what I need as a kit because looking on fox, king, or icons sites there is 8 levels all with more and more parts and I dont know what much into it. I dont rock climb or anything to crazy but I do camp hike and do a lot of back country stuff where if a road got rough or washed out i would still like the ability to get through what I need to. I guess really just looking for suggestion or advice on what lifts to go with that will give me a good ride and still good for an everyday driver but can have fun with too?
