Toyota may have paid more, but GM killed more people. You are correct people are looking for the best product, thats why people are willing to pay toyota prices for cars.Nobody would pay toyota prices for american cars.

Did you realize GM willingly paid millions over that ignition switch to some that were drunk or not wearing a seat belt (like your Mom was). I don't know about you, but when my car looses power, I don't crash or steer into a tree. But hey that's me. It's a good idea to go out in parking lot and shut your ignition off just to make sure you can handle it.
