I'd like to get matching prinsu roof and canopy racks for my truck so I can rock a tent like yours ^^^^^ and keep the gear in the truck. Someday :D

Nice simple setup! Looks very similar to my truck. Although I have an ARE canopy and haul my bike with a hitch carrier because I despise trailers.

I hate clutter too so one of the best things I did to my truck to help deal with that was build myself an elevated sleeping platform. The Girlfriend and I can sleep comfortably in the back while still having lots of room to store gear underneath us. The way I built my hatches and hinged doors I can get to pretty much anything I store underneath, even with the bed setup.

Here's some pics of my setup to give you some ideas.

That looks super slick, man! The only problem there is that when the girlfriend and I are camping and the weather goes to hell, we like to sit up and play cards games and stuff. Head room is a commodity, otherwise I wouldn't have gotten the raised canopy. I plan to install a couple of roof racks and move some of the clutter to pods on the roof, though.

I built mine so that I can remove the aluminum crossbars, slide out the center 4 hatches and then have maximum headroom. I honestly never remove them while camping. The only time I do so is if I have to move a tall item with my truck. The platform is nice because I like to be elevated above the wheel wells while sleeping for more width even if it means sacrificing a bit of headroom.

You could easily build something similar where you can drop down the center to get more headroom.

Alternatively, some guys only elevate one side of their beds like a bench. You could do that, have one side to sit at full height, with a bed that could be used as a table on the other side. Then you could make a removable piece that would then elevate the low side to turn it into a full bed.

Just throwing some ideas out there, do whatever works best for you. I plan on getting cab rack for my truck as well to eliminate some of the stuff I have to move around in be bed to able to sleep back there.

Yep, I have the Baja utility rack over my cap, the interior flap give me access to the rear Windoor and everything underneath. I remounted my awning to sit above the cap a bit, and with the floor staked out tightens up the sidewalls perfect. Two cots, a small table and some LED string lights make it comfy...

I got the 2000x2500 awning and room. I got the 2000 because it's the length of my bed without any overhang. Room stores up the size of a sleeping bag.

Made a solo run up to the north shore of Lake Superior for a few days. The weather was perfect and I had the entire campground to myself.

    I really need my RTT.

Went scouting on some back roads for future camp sites.

After awhile I ended up on this burly road (if you could even call it a road) full of mud pits. Had fun.

    MarkLakeRd_zps8egkkaua_64ed1f707427579ac51688d9540480afd8fd4ad9.jpg

After a couple of slow-going miles I came to a spot where the road was completely washed out. Looks like beavers built a dam and destroyed it. I saw old tire tracks going through, and the culvert was smashed a bit - so there were a few trucks that had gotten through. But I used my better judgement and decided to turn around. If I would have had support it would have been fun to try.
