i've got a Blazing Blue Pearl SR5 double cab on the way. That model and color comes only with cement gray interior. Had a Corolla rental recently with gray fabric, maybe a lighter shade. Even water left a stain. And we are always around water, SUP, surfing, etc. My Wrangler has been topless in south Florida for more than three years. Rained many times on that black upholstery and looks nearly new. Any reports on the cement gray?

Are you asking how well the gray fabric will last for around a month of ownership? Because that's about how long the 2016 has been available...

My truck has a grey interior, I don't know whether the materials are different or not but mine are constantly soaked with mud and coffee and everything in between and they by no means look "new" but they don't look as if they've had mud baths on a regular basis.

I am not asking about durability. The Corolla rental was brand new. The smallest amount of water left stains on the gray fabric. A little rain from the window. A wet hand placed on the seat for a moment. Trying to clean it with a damp white rag only made it worse. Looked like crap after only one day. Hopefully the cement gray is not the same.

Ive always had leather but I didnt like the limited leather. I ordered the TRD OR w/ gray and will be adding seat covers.
Black only looks good for about 2 minutes after you clean. IMO

    You answered your own question.

But my '14 has light cloth. And yes I've had to clean "water" stains too.

I had that gray on the 2011 I traded it and I feel you on the watermarks, pissed me off to no end. The 1st time it
rained and I opened the door a few big drops hit the side of the seat and those damn stains were there for good.

I test drove a few 2016 SR5's. The cement gray interior is a darker gray. After seeing it in person, I didn't think the color was that big of deal stain wise.

The question isn't if it looks like it would stain, the question is does it stain.

Now that I have the truck, I can confirm that the cement gray upholstery is darker than I remembered and resistant to stains. Water doesn't seem to leave a mark, which is great for me as I am regularly getting in wet after paddling, and it rains a lot here in south Florida. Even coffee stains seem not to be too noticeable . . .
