Two days till build date

And still only a handful of TRD Offroad in Blue with the tech package anywhere in the entire country based on cars.com search. Dealer says they are getting lots of demand for the TRD offroad w tech packages but Toyota still will only send them based on an allocation order to the east coast. That seems kind of retarded? Why no moon roof / offroads for us east coasters?

 

I feel like all I see are Blue, Orange and Quicksand here in AZ. Waiting on a white one with Prem & Tech pkg myself. I think build date is 11/16.

 

It is still going to be kind of cool to do a search and see 1 or 2 of the same spec truck for a while. Im starting to get the shakes waiting at this point.

 

I don't know. It took forever for Toyota to allow my build. They kept changing it to the non tech package and finally, a month and a half after my original order, they accepted it. Should be here in about 3-4 weeks. Just before Thanksgiving

 

My build date is November 3rd. Here's hoping that there is no BS in between now and then!

 

I finally just got my build date on my rare build. A DCSB TRDOR manual in quicksand with no tech package. Build date is next week. Super excited to actually have a build date.

 

Awesome. I have the same truck on the way. Ordered at the beginning of September. It was built Oct 15th, still waiting for delivery.

 

It is apparently a tough truck to find. Way fewer manuals built than Autos, and even fewer TRD's without the tech packages. I'm actually surprised my dealer found this one. Where are you located at and how long from the build date is expected delivery?

 

Truck was built in Texas. Estimated deliver 10/30-11-5. Dealer said he was able to label it "Hot" on the 28th to speed up the process. Not sure what that means???

 

Probably means stop bothering me!

 

I noticed mine is being built in Texas also. I wonder if that has something to do with the Manual tranny?
Sorry @Gutt Pile for hijacking your thread. When is your blue baby supposed to be showing up? Sounds like you opted for no Tech package either. Can I ask why? Mine is due to the limited head room with the moon roof.

 

Dealer just called. It just came in. I'm going to leave in about an hr to go get it. Yea, I didn't want the moon roof because I am 6' 1". Some of the features with the tech package didn't really float my boat. I do hate that chrome rear bumper though.

Maybe Texas builds the 6MT double cabs?
