I've seen those. They look like a blast! I built a 26" from old parts for the park and it still feels gangly. 22" would be sweet.

Hey guys, how are you all hauling your bikes? I have a picture below of my current setup. My issue is I have a Bestop so I need a hitch mounted rack. I prefer a wheel on rack for the quickness of it.

Problem is, I can't lower my tailgate, even with the bike off and the Yakima Holdup 2 tilted down, there still is interference. I thought about shortening the tailgate cables but that would be a pain. Does anyone run a hitch rack that you can still lower the tailgate?

I had cooked up the idea of finding a scrap Yakima Swingdaddy style rack, and having a welder marry the two (Yakima Holdup / Yakima Swingdaddy). The result would look like this:

    27e059a2ee3da579aad22311e11275e8_244106ce0c3f2d95452ae1791b0d416d9e7e7f87.jpg

Of course if a Kuat or 1UP USA rack allows the tailgate to be dropped that's probably the easiest route.

I too added the IceTech rotors/pads to my SLX setup on the Anthem X. Night and day difference compared to the oem SLX rotors/pads. Silent and perfect preformance.

I've been mountain biking for almost 3 years now. Got into DH 2 years ago. Started racing enduro this season. So much fun! Bought a tailgate pad to make shuttle runs easier!

    Here are some pics!

Out of many shocks on my DH bikes including the ohlins, this is by far better. Bike jumps better and skips through rock gardens better! Take the time to tune it. You will love it!

I just went tubeless yesterday after constant flats from goathead thorns!
Hoping it works out as well as I've heard...

Great bike! And I went back to tubes since on the stock control casings I kept going through sidewalls. My "Enduro" set up has 2 ply minion DHF's front and rear that are bomb proof!

I'll upgrade the tires after I finish beating the hell out of this set!
But I will upgrade to something beefier, and I still want to give tubeless a chance..

I've ran many brands tubeless but I do have a soft spot for specialized butcher front and slaughter rear. Both grid casings. But schwalbe's snakeskin and super gravity casing is great and they have the best performing rubber, just doesn't last that long :( also try different sealants as well. I run my DH bike tubeless with cafe latex and its held up a long time. Hope this helps!!

image.jpg WTF? My rear tire started losing air. After closer inspection it appears the sealant is leaking out of the sidewalls.

Common if that's s control casing specialized tire. At least in my experience.

Yep, Specialized Ground Control. Looking for new tires, tubeless 29" tires almost cost as much as car tires.

I've had that happen with control casing tires (stock tires on my Enduro). Tore both front and rear sidewalls at the same time. I like specialized GRID casing tires, slaughter rear, butcher front. Maxxxis makes great tires too, I've had luck in the past with them tubeless as well.
