    The real questions:

-Does anyone know yet if the front outer diff bearings have tighter tolerances. I used ECBS bushing on my 09 and no vibes now.

-Does the 6 MT redesign resolve the aluminum pilot shaft the TB rides on. I had that problem with a 05 where after little time ridges formed creating TB squeal and premature failure. Hopefully a steel shaft now.

    Cheers!

Soo. I guess the gear heads here that have it does not know yet. Wonder if Toyo has the diagrams out yet?

The front diff bearings have not changed.

I can't remember entirely on the throw out bearing, but from memory it is a bolted-on piece that it slides on unlike the casted aluminum style used on the RA60/61.

Great. I figured they did not tighten the tolerances on the diff bearing. I used the sleeve on my 05 tacoma to fix the tb chatter. It did work for a while but the tb that comes with it did not last but that is when I traded with a squeal but no chatter. Disappointed such a fine little truck has critical problem areas. Debating on f150. More power with a 5.0 and gas mileage. Decisions.. like the size of the tacoma though. Cannot wait to hear if vibes are back on the 2016 after lifting or not. As for the Manuel get the extended warrenty. Thanks for the reply. I thought I would never get input except reading other posts on wheel spacers and plastic dip grills.

I can now confirm that the throwout bearing slides on a separate front bearing retainer that is not a part of the transmission case. I'm pretty sure it's steel, but can't say with 100% certainty.

Hi Jeff. That is great news it is not on the molded aluminum shafts like the last. Looks they got it right using steel. Still interested in the diff hub specs. when I replaced mine with the bushing their was a length difference along with 60 thousands in play when installed. the vid from ecbs really drawer the point of the difference of a machined set to forged pressed. Definitely enlightened me! Keep up the god knowledge. You are quite resourceful.
