It seems like 90% of you guys have your hi lift jack mounted on a bracket that attaches to the bed rails of the truck. Well I have a roll n lock tonneau cover that uses the bed brackets and makes it so I can't attach anything there. Where else would you recommend that I mount my hi lift Jack and do you guys have any photos of where you have yours mounted?

just thrown in bed right now but will be on my roof rack. I also had one bolted to my old toolbox, and then again to the rails.

I was definitely considering a roof rack

Just drill two holes per bracket (4 holes total ) and bolt it on. very solid compared to the rail mount I had before

I had mine for a few years, ended up having to repaint it at least 3 times because of rust.

It was also pretty sloppy as far as bouncing around with the 60" Hi-Lift.

Pelfreybilt is aluminum = no rust and it secures the jack much better.

Ah that makes sense. I just sanded mine down and painted it. Been about a year and no issues yet. I have a 48" and its mounted against my cab so it moves around less. If I had a 60 I would look elsewhere probably.

I had my ATO with a 48" up front like yours, wasn't too bad. Moved to a 60" on the bedside with the ATO brackets. The Pelfreybilt mount is just more thought out, good analogy would be a screen protector specifically designed for something verse a universal one size fits most approach.

If I ever get a 60 I'll keep them in mind. Love my rear bumper from them.

I think I'm gonna get their shovel and axe mount soon. Just waiting on funds.

That's exactly where I would like to mount mine, I'm wondering if I would be able to get it to fit underneath my roll n lock to keep things nice and clean. 48" is more than enough right? I feel like a 60" would be a little overkill. Do you think I could put the pelfreybuilt ones in the same spot?

Also, I have the short bed. I'm wondering if that would make a difference for that mounting spot due to my fender wells

Yeah theirs should fit as well. Theirs just bolts into your bed. It might be hard to get the nuts behind the composite bed in that location.

Depends if you wheel or not. 48" is plenty to get a lifted rig off the ground on pavement.

60" sometimes isn't enough off road.

I wouldn't try to mount it on the front, would be damn near impossible without removing the bed unless you used nutserts

That's the only reason I want one is for wheeling
