    enough to go over stuff
I have replaced every piece of armor and suspension on my truck multiple times. I have spent whole days diagnosing vibes by trying long lists of things. My truck is currently vibe free, long traveled, on 35s but that doesn't mean it will stay that way. when I started working on my truck 2 years ago I had never even removed a wheel from a vehicle. Now I have my truck apart almost every other week.

Dang. Yea mine has 12,000 miles on it and I can't freaking stand that there is a problem. Ive had many mechanics look at it and none can find the cause.

So what if I've got the "whur whur whur" vibration in the floor and it used to go away in 4hi, but now it does it all the time regardless of 2hi/4hi? Does that just mean that the needle is so worn it does it all the time, or its not the differential at all?

Have you put the carrier bearing drop kit in? I am trying that here in a few hours and will let you know if it takes care of it.

Yup. if you let it go long enough the front needle bearing will eat at the CV to the point of no return.

so pretty much you can replace a needle bearing for cheaper than a whole axle if you catch it in time...i saw a video on youtube of a guy that replaced his needle bearing or maybe a bushing in there that supposedly fisxed the vibs...not sure if it was a 1st or 2nd gen though...been a while since ive seen it

yeap thats the video i was talking about! apparently that bushing will help with the angle created by the lift and reduce some of the wear on the bearing

Ok so an update. On my lunch break I put in the Carrier Bearing Drop kit and It took away the loudest noise I was hearing. CRAZY that 3/8 of an inch has that much impact. Sure doesn't have that much impact with a woman lol... I keep hearing some small noise now from the front but can't tell if I am searching for things or I got it done.. Will keep posted

Ok Carrier Bearing drop fix some problems but not enough. I guess the next step is the bearing replacement from ECGS. I spoke to a few mechanics and they act like my crazy when I describe what Ive been told and what needs to be replaced. Any ideas?
