    You'll find no arguments here.

I would state further that disc brakes don't really help the light trailers on these trucks anyways because those trailers should have their own brakes and the net effect should be small even with the trailer loaded. Maybe with max payload the Colorado would brake better or after several stops it would, but those aren't major uses for either of these trucks.

Damn, too much agreement. This thread is going to hell, How's TW gonna generate page view?
Disk brakes generally eliminate squishy peddle, less travel in the mechanism.

Obviously you've never seen the 15' Silverado with black real leather. If you pull your head out of Sweers arse long enough you'd realize Toyota is doing just enough. One color option, fake leather, no power seats, no up down adjustments. The completion is gaining, their just trying to stay ahead of the pack.

I'm not a fan of the 3rd gen.

However, they are doing just enough. That is true. With such little effort, even the new twins with all the options, still cant overtake. All Toyota has to do is add that stuff in next year and voila....more sales....

Also, the dash component are cheap and cheesy. They feel like they are going to break within minutes. They typically fade/flake/fall apart well before 100,000 miles.

The design is elementary. Square here, square there... flat plastic, cheap. Its the truth. You can deny it all you want, and talk about me having my head up Sweer's ass...but if you cant understand that I said DASH and not SEATS...then...who's ass is your head up?

The door panels are basic, handles feel weak.

Go ahead. Google "Silverado Interior" and "F-150 Interior" and truly analyze the two. The F150 is WAY more luxurious.

My girlfriend said she liked my brother more. And the next girlfriend also. Got kinda tired. I got a review from a fat blind ugly girl in the next town that I was the best. I felt better.

    Seriously?

I agree. The twins don't stand a chance, but the tacos are priced in the full sized truck range so they also have to complete with the big boys. I had a hard on for a taco for a long time. test drove the 16' Limited Sport and SR5. Then test drove the 15' Silverado. Silverado was better in every category that I care about and it was 4 grand cheaper.

Well...there ya go. You bought a truck that fit your needs. Comparing it to a truck that doesn't, seems silly anyway.

I personally like the F150. Its big enough for my family (Tacoma isn't) and it rides the way I want a truck to, has plenty of power and they didn't take the bail out.

You don't know that it won't meet your needs until you test drive it, duh. Buddy just bought a F250, it laid down on him at work. Had to bum a ride home. Had it towed the next. Ford needs a engineering bail out.

I could tell you a half dozen GM stories about the same sort of issues on GM trucks and cars that I've experienced personally or at work. Someone needs to turn the fanboy down.

No, it's not a drum versus disc discussion until BlueT starts posting links to semi truck research.

Fords and Chevy's suck, and tacos made in mexico are the best thing on the road. If I'm a fanboy, at least I'm pulling for the home team.

Well...I know my needs pretty well. I need seating for 4. I need storage for luggage every now and then. I need some power for towing every now and then.

Wants? I WANT a truck that wont lay down on me. If it does, well, insurance will cover a rental for any reason, and so will AAA. Also, I currently have 4 other vehicles at my disposal to get through issues. So. I have it covered.

Toyota is the Home Team?

There is no team. Only trucks. Luckily for us there are a lot of good ones on the market right now. I don't like GM for personal reasons and I've had bad luck with them but even I know the Colorado isn't a turd for most people. It'll make a lot of people happy. People with different needs than I have in my small truck.

I'm responding to the OP to help him with understanding why the twins are doing better in the reviews. I happen to have experience with the twins I decided to help a fellow member. All of the insults I take are just the lengths I go through to help my fellow man.
