Noticed today that when using the smart key door handles to enter the vehicle, it only unlocks the front doors but not the rear doors. So you either have to hit the unlock button in the front door or dig your keys out to access the rear doors. Anyone know if it's possible to have the rear doors unlock as well upon grabbing your front door handle?

go into the settings of the head unit, I adjusted mine today and ALL doors now unlock when I touch the handle.

I don't think so. I did see an option in the settings of the display to open just the drivers door or open both of them, but I don't see anything about the back seats.

Just as an aside, you actually don't need the tech package for the smart key. It's standard on TRD models in the US.

edit: it looks like I might be mistaken according to the poster above. Maybe that option I referred to opens all doors, rather than just the driver and passenger.

Stand outside the truck. Lock the truck then press and hold the lock and unlock button on the remote at the same time until it beeps about ten seconds and the MID will show all 4doors opening

I'm sure unlocking all 4 doors from the remote with on push is an option you can change through the settings app. As far as all the doors unlocking when you reach in the handle, I think that's something only the dealer can set.

Yeah, the manual explains all of the other options like setting how the lights work, chimes, etc. First thing I always do is customize all of those little things. Been there, done that.

There was a thread earlier today in regards to using a remote start and unlocking all the doors. Look at posts # 8 & 13 from the link below,it tells how to do this from the head unit and also the smart key.

Mine did that to me today too. Go out of that screen and go back in and it should become active - took mine a few seconds to "light up" as active.
