    that wont do it, needs a kit that Toyota sells to actually address issue, buddy tech at local Toyota dealer, he said basically masks the noise

    way back when, the blower motor in my '85 quit, took it apart, cleaned it, found the brushes worn out, " technically " blower motor is not a "rebuildable" part you can get components for. BUT, I worked at a tool repair shop at the time, found that brushes from a 14v Dewalt drill were the same size and fit the holder well, and I had a few sets laying around. Boom, blower was still working when it left me several years later.

    anything can be repaired, is it worth your effort/time/money to find the way ?

    I believe noise is from a bearing that was never lubed right from the factory, whole blower motor has to come apart to get to it. (Guess this would be the right fix overall)
