Not a debate, the answer is B as CLEARLY shown in the patent for such a thing. A is however acceptable if you have a cat in the house for practical reasons.

Why? That's a clockwise rotation, righty tighty.

I'm not 100% sure but I think the earth rotates in the same direction. Hurricanes, Tornadoes, and water going down the drain spins in a clockwise direction. This may be dependent on wich hemisphere you are in.

You can hang TP in the counter clockwise direction, but that would be the wrong way.

 

B for me, wife likes A. Glad I am not the only one here. We keep spares real close by. Worst is to visit friends and they run out, and you cannot find the extra rolls.

I always carry a roll in all my vehicles. Never know when you need it. Due to the pandemic, we got 5 cases of Costco toilet papers. Almost a life time supply. Expect shortages and price increases due to less truckers and shipping cost.
