Ordered my DCLB-OR on October 8 and it arrived yesterday. Gun metal gray. Salt Lake City.

Maybe my Limited Red 4X4 will hit Houston next week. Now shows 4 days till Houston. Buying BF Goodrich TA/KO 2 265/60 18 inch. Service guys have them on their Tacoma's and like for off road.
My salesman told me I could buy the hood for Sport and put it on Limited - it will be available for those who want sport scoop look. Told him definitely interested.

 

I was originally told mine would be ready for pickup on Oct 31. Now I'm told it's at the port and being delayed. That it should be in on Nov 6 or 7.

This sucks I'm not very good waiting for things.

I ordered an AC-OR in black on 10/26. Dealer changed one in allocation to black and took my deposit today. Expecting 3-4 weeks. Enjoying the forum.

 

Putting BFG KO2s 265/75/16s on it first thing Monday. The stock Goodyears, IMHO, are NG for off-road. Also I will need either airbags or another leaf as I am putting a popup camper shell on this truck. (700 lbs) (Four Wheel Campers, Eagle model, plain shell with a furnace.) Not sure if I want to keep the TRD decals or not. Drive is excellent, but I still prefer the 6MT on my 2007 FJ Cruiser. Nice electronics (a bit hard to figure out for an aging baby boomer), and even the stock stereo sound is excellent. I could not go with the package with the JBL as the moon roof cuts into the overhead too much for my 6'3" frame-- this one has plenty of room, but the steering wheel could tilt up more, or it would be nice if the seat lowered. BUT . . . all in all, those are minor things. The truck is great. Like driving a long Weiner dog compared to the FJ Cruiser, but the visibility and sight lines are great (esp. when you remove the rear headrests).

 

Mines build date was 10/20 but when I asked Chris what was going on he said it hadn't been build, that was 10/27. Contacted my salesman and said delievery date was pushed back a week to 11/24. I ordered on 10/9. This sucks someone else had the same truck and build date as me (minus the color) and his was build 10/19, lucky fucker.

 

FYI. I ordered a white sport access cab on 10/24 in Phoenix. 6-8 weeks for delivery. Not many of these around here. Costco program. Can't wait. Love all the posts.

 

I had my temp VIN checked again and it looks its not pulling anything up! Which means that it should be built! I emailed my salesperson and I guess she's off today. Hopefully I'll get an email from her tomorrow so I can get an estimated delivery date.

 

Ordered a Blue DC LB TRD OR 10/14, no word of any kind yet!

 

Yeah, form what this forum is saying OR LBs are hard to come by.

Long beds are really rare in Tennessee. I found one in Wyoming, if I hadn't put money down I might hop a plane. My wife and I plan to take a 3-4 day trip when my truck gets here anyway.
