I had the same problem. Take a hair dryer and get it good and hot and bend it down. I had the same problem. It works.

What kind of adhesive are these going to use?

My WeatherTech logos fell off within 3 months because the glue failed. Are these essentially the exact same item, except a different sticker underneath?

If these have similar issues, then what?

I'll send out the invoices tomorrow.

As it sits right now, there aren't nearly enough J or I to make. There are two Js and one I. If I don't hear from enough to order J or I, I won't be sending out invoices for those.

    There are plenty of Ds.

This is a one time thing for me... So if J or I don't have 5 paid orders by the weekend, they're not going to get ordered.

I'm not sure what kind of adhesive they use other than I'd imagine they're similar to the original WeatherTech logos.

If they have similar issues, glue them on with something stronger. I'm not selling these to make a profit, I'm just facilitating getting enough to make an order... so it's not like I can provide any kind of guarantee or warranty.

To be honest, I'm rethinking ordering at all. I really don't want to get stuck with a bunch of pissed people if they do turn out suboptimal.

    I was just curious. :)

They seem nice, and re-gluing is obviously a solution. I was just wondering if you'd solved that problem, then it'd be a non-issue and a nice custom product.

    Good luck, whatever you decide.

Yeah, I think the adhesive letting go has more to do with the mats (and the texture/plastic composition) than the adhesive itself. I have a hard case made of a similar material to the WeatherTechs and it won't hold tape or anything sticky to save its life. I did get a nameplate stuck to it permanently by using a little gorilla glue after scuffing it up a bit.

There's another vendor that will let me spec the actual adhesive up to "Gorilla Snot" (which is insanely sticky), but they require a 50pc minimum order PER design. Not sure we could hit that. The guy I'm using is the same guy who's done this for the SRT and Raptor guys. I suppose I can ask over there if they're holding well.

I'd planned on just sticking them down with a little Gorilla Glue on top of the built-in adhesive.

If I decide to duck out, I'll be happy to pass on the info (and order a pair) to anyone who's interested in taking it over.

Gotta say I'm one of those who doesn't get putting custom logos on a floor mat that you put your muddy feet on...but for those who want to, enjoy!

Have you considered one that says Tacoma? Everyone interested doesn't own a TRD.
