So... what I got from this thread is that I should trade in my regular cab to get a 4-runner and get In-and-Out burgers with it.

    Thanks guys.

I still have my 93 that I use for wheeling and my Taco that I use for everything else.

    Wife drives a '14 4 Runner SR5.

It's OK if you like nose-dive braking and a waddly suspension.

I much prefer the sturdy feel of my '15 Tacoma PreRunner SR5 4.0L

My Toyota life started with a 4Runner but two large dogs were unruly in the back. Next logical move was a Tacoma with a cap to house the dogs on trips. I do miss that 4Runner. Someday my driveway may have a Tundra and a 4Runner.

Had a 4wd 4runner, got a dclb prerunner Tacoma, and then promptly go stuck because I tried to drive it like my old 4runner.

3rd gen 4runners rip! Despite the low power!
Although I still do love my new Tacoma. It's going to be built for a different type of wheeling.

According to my calculations......if you drive a Tacoma or a 4Runner........you're pretty fuckin cool.
