I've got a line on a set of seats from an '01 4Runner. If they're anything like the seats in my son's '98 4Runner they are much more comfortable than my '03 Tacoma seats.

What's involved in making the 4Runner seats fit in my Tacoma?

    Thanks

The front outer riser needs to be changed and the rear outer one needs to be twisted a little. I did the drivers side on my 04. They still are not very good.
I just picked up a set of TC scion seats. The inner bolts up very close the outer needs some fab. Way better seats!!

    Thanks.

You're saying the 4Runner seats aren't that much better than the stock Tacoma seats?

They are better but not way better.

Stock seats= about an our and a half drive and I needed a break

    4runner seats= about 2 hours need a break.

Good metric. Thanks. I think I'll pass on these runner seats. They were a long way away, anyway.

    I like this idea.
Can you be more specific about how they are designed better?
Are there both manual and motorized seats?
    What year TC?

Now ya got me googling scion tc seats. My 98 seats are terrible! The headrest has a metal bar for my head to rest on. I'm thinking all the padding evaporated in some Florida heat. Lol

I drive to Florida every year and am usually in the seat for 4+ hours until filling up. take me about 15 hours to get there. no butt fatigue. if you sit up straight and not slouched you will notice a difference as I did

The bases fit better and the back rap around way better. I found a set out of a 07 cheap. The material is more of a sport cloth. All one needs to do is flip the seats over and compair. The TC seats look way better built. The seat pan looks to be molded deeper than the tacomas. I will see if I can snap some pics.

Please do get pics! if you could show a couple of how you mounted the seats, that would be great as well!
