Pretty much. There are a couple of the plastic tabs on each side that you need to push back to release them. You can access the tabs easily by reaching down thru the gap between the frame and headlight. Just pop the hood and reach down until you feel the tabs. You can look at the new ones to see how to depress the tabs.
No tools required except maybe a thin tool like a butter knife to help start moving the originals after you press back the tabs.

The replacements are in 2 pieces per side. The black base, then the chrome piece clips into the top of the base.

The new ones you just line up the tabs, and give them a quick push & they pop in & lock in place.
Entire process is under 5 minutes.

Thanks. As an FYI to others: the two Limited bezels and chrome rings list for nearly $200.

what did you notice different? Im curious because I was very close to buying a 2015 about 9 months ago because I've always loved the 2nd generation. Obviously I held out for the 3 gen, but just wondering!

A lot. It was a bit easier to tell when I finally took the intake and exhaust off my 2014 and drove it stock. On the sport the suspension feels stiffer, but not bouncy as I was expecting it to. It handles corners better and dips in the road like a champ. The 3rd gen is a lot quieter in comparison, way less wind and road noise. It was almost completely silent at 65mph, with a barely noticeable sound from the mirror. Personally I havent had any issues with the power of the motor. Around town it has plenty of response even when ect mode is off, on the highway at speed its not quite as responsive as the 2nd gen, but if you put on ect mode it definitely is. It makes it easier to be fuel efficient when ect mode is off. The transmission shifting is super smooth and I dont notice any of the vibration that I noticed in my 2nd gen. Then of course you get all the creature comforts and cool tech features that are nice to have, which there are plenty of

The cab actually feels larger inside. A lot of improvements. Illuminated power window switches on all doors with auto up/down on front two. The rear doors seem to open up wider. It is incredibly quiet.

How much was the sr grill? I like that MUCH better than the trd grill.

Hmm, perhaps ill try to find someone to trade.

the truck really looks good, the grill and tiresreally make a huge difference. Although at tht price i may look to trade rather than by outright.

That's a great look. I was planning on new wheels & bigger tires.
But those tires make the wheels look better now.
Can you post a pic from the side?

FYI, the Limited grill is color matched in case some of you would like that.

Mine looked perfect for 10 days...until it rained. Still 100% satisfied with the color though, it looks great!
