We don't have that many down yet. Plus I only have maybe 0.2 acres if lawn, the rest is woods/conservation land. When all the leaves are down it'll only take an hour max to mulch and pickup the leaves with my tiny ass push mower

Ooh, that one looks beefy. I just got a Husqvarna 150BT which isn't nearly as nice but it turns 4-5 hours of work into 1.5-2 with better end results.

I'm firing up the tractor today for my yard. Only really need the blower for around the house perimeter and not much has fallen there yet.

Yeah I had it up high to get a crust on it then down for low and slow. Took it out melted butter and brown sugar in the pan and then put the chop back in.

I just spent the day mowing, trimming and blowing leaves and you couldn't tell if I didn't say so. Most of my leaves are down but they still keep coming.

    Billy,

I have the Husqvarna 150BT which right now is on sale at Lowes for I think $249. I paid $299 for it in September. The reviews for it are largely positive with the only issue being that it is difficult to start the second season. I decided to purchase the Lowes service plan since it was dirt cheap and protected against that very issue.

There's a similar Echo at HD that doesn't have those negatives but no mattery how I tried setting the straps, it was terribly uncomfortable on. The Husq doesn't have that issue and I used it for well over an hour last weekend without any real fatigue.

You are welcome to swing by and check it out if you'd like. There are better ones out there (like the Stihl that was mentioned before) but you also pay more for them, so it's a fine balancing act, IMHO.

I officially became an old man today.

Leer 100R, $370. How could I not purchase it. The black isn't awful for what my truck is, and I can always color match it next summer. The only thing that stunk was removing my roll bar was a PITA. The bolts that hold it in were Allen head and screwed into the rail mounts for the track system. One Allen head stripped out and I couldn't get my reverse threading bits to work (actually broke one of the bits) so I took my angle grinder to the head to remove it. Now I have the screw shaft sticking out of the hole and it blocks getting the 4th cap mount to work. I will have to fix that at some point.

Any ideas on how to best tackle it. My suspicion is that the threads on the screw inside the body have some corrosion on them which is making it difficult to remove. The rail system is blocking some access to the shaft so I was thinking of clamping on my Vise Grips and trying to unscrew it and hope for the best. Thoughts?

EDIT: Removed the damaged bolt. Noticed the rear hatch is a little screwed up. Any one here know how to remove a rear window on a cap?

Well, last year I got rid of a toro back pack - what a POS. It ran great until you put it on and then would sputter and die. A friend is an arborist and he uses Stihl. My brother in law has an older Stihl which runs great. I looked at a bunch of different models and wound up with their biggest - BR600. That what the landscapers run if they use Stihl. Wow, that thing moves leaves, acorns, hickory nuts, tar chunks from the driveway, cracked concrete, you name it... FWIW, I was able to get mine for $429.99 plus tax. Don't skimp on size, and you want both CFM and nozzle speed. My neighbor across the street fixes small equipment, he tells everyone, if you can, avoid the cheap brands at the home centers like ryobi, etc... The engines don't seem to last.

Anyone know of any decent cars for cheap? My sister-in-law's car fell apart, and she's looking for a new one.
