Broke my collarbone into at least 4 pieces 10/18/2015, so mods will be slow and limited.

10/20/2015 - restored plastic trim, like mirrors, door handles, and the top of the sides of the bed. X-Act contour floor liners arrived and placed in. Not screwed in yet.

10/24/2015 - got to take my bandages off, see my new soon to be scar. I bought barely used 265/70r17 blizzaks on sport wheels. Gf and her father picked them up for me, then helped me prep them for paint. Then they were mounted!

Did you tape up the surrounding paint? I tried something similar on another vehicle and it left a stubborn stain were the "black" product touched any near by paint. I was thinking of just removing the plastics and using trim paint.

You can, I did because I was 1 handed. If you don't You just wipe it off real quick if it gets on your paint. A damp rag will help if it dries. That's how I did it on my dads truck

So the rusty bolts bothered me, so I did a fix for less than a dollar. Went to ace, bought some 5/16 nylon end caps, drilled a 5/16 hole in each original hole, and boom. A little bit of touch of paint and it's done. My front bumper is so marked up I didn't feel like wasting time and money doing it the correct way, sand, filler, paint, etc.

I bought different ones because I forgot to measure before I went there, plus I still can't drive haha

Thought I'd post about my other obsession. Building and racing Mountain bikes. I usually race downhill or enduro.

My DH / Park bike: Transition Tr500 set up 650b

My trail bike / Enduro rig: Enduro 29

Also my other build I traded in for the Tacoma! Mazda 6 hatch in the snow :)

Added a $4 bar caddy. Didn't fit at first, so I simply pushed and the plastic on the corner broke but it fits. I like organization haha

    image.jpg

Annnnd did the reverse light mod with 35w 12v G36 something bulbs off Amazon. $15 for 10 bulbs! Just smushed the tabs in the socket a bit and boom

Thanks man! Means a lot. I'm not gonna sink a lot into this one I hope, due to not 4wd and no locker. I just want to preserve this truck for as long as possible. But golllleeeeee I want a lift and plate bumpers.
