Seats don't bother me cuz my last truck (frontier) seats were worse. Clock don't bother me, I just tilt my head. What's a seat belt? Oil filter don't bother me cuz I've seen worse, and I change my oil at work on a lift, not that bad.

What bothers me is the joke of a back seat. Size and comfort wise. No room or padding. I feel bad when people sit back there. And the lack of technology. The cheap aftermarket deck I installed has more tech options than the whole rest of the truck..
But I guess you could put that in the "less things to break" or "nothing expensive to fix in the future" category.

It's not running right now. Any body have a 2.7/W59 complete drive shaft lying around?

Just figured it out. The Pre 2001 have a 2 bottom spoke steering wheel and the 2001+ have a 4 spoke wheel. It is the upper spoke they added that gets in the way.

    Same here
get a weird sharp pain in my but area on long drives and have to put the seat back and stretch straight out
I made it better by stuffing towels in behind the lining in the lumbar area
its like sitting in a 5 gallon bucket

Definitely the oil filter location!!! The best thing they ever did was put the oil filter on top of the 4.0 engine!!! I loved that on my 06 Tacoma that I had. So easy to change the oil.

I'll bring it up again... the "hidden" mid range feature for the stereo. Activated only if you push the right side knob for what seems like forever, and stays activated only if the stereo is turned off before truck is shut down. PITA I tell ya. Oh, and axle wrap x70 bazillion.

I have no idea what you're talking about, what's this hidden stereo feature?

You just push in and hold the right bass/ treble fad/ balance knob for at least 20 seconds and you have a mid range for your stock stereo. A lot of people never even knew it was there. It's a nice option

Interesting. I had no idea. Will test out tomorrow and see how much of a difference it makes.
