IIRC, 2nd gen scoops had some airflow/pressure-thing happening; it can't be made functional...
I was going to do an Rigid SR w/ smoke cover on my '07 Sport.

It dissipates the heat from the engine compartment and when you are sitting in traffic much like I do every little bit helps, hell I even installed a aux fan for next summer which starts in like a month?

    Stock and loving it
but then you drive and it forces air in the scoop instead of into the grill and through the radiator. that is not good

The way the scoop is positioned on the hood it will not collect enough air to be concerned with just like the water issue it's really a non issue, but it does vent the heat build up in the engine compartment.

But I have a 2nd gen and the scoop is not the same, so I need to move on, sorry for the intrusion I need to pay closer attention when I respond to threads.
