im fixing an issu on my 99 Tacoma 2.4L. I've already replaced an injector on my other 99 Tacoma pre runner that has the 3.4L in it. I guess my question is whether or not I have to take the air plume off to get the fuel rail out or will I have to tear it all the way down?

nope, the 2.4 is super easy, take the air duct off and you "could" do it just like that but its a lot easier to pull the TB and get all that clutter out of the way because it takes a little finagling to get them in or out.

I bought a full set of 4 hole "upgrade" injectors for my 99. it turned out that wasn't the cause of the rough idle but it ran much better, felt more responsive, and it got better mpg after.

these are the ones I used: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Best-Upgrad...ash=item1c55f05609:g:~EAAAOSwjVVVoA5n&vxp=mtr
