hey guys i am also looking to get wheels and tires i drive a lil 2016 i4....i will not be using it for offroading or anything on that sort. Its my daily. But i am looking for a 3 inch leveling kit from toy tech.

what would be the most "meatier" tires and best wheels set up i can go with without any modifications( no trimming, not removing the air dam etc..) Just looking to have a nice looking daily on the road. Thanks

BTW i am fairly new to all this stuff its my first truck

I believe 33s with 8.5" width. Wider tires rub at full lock and bigger tires require trimming if I'm not mistaken.

I don't understand the offset is 30mm? I don't see that as an option when purchasing these wheels.

Are they asking for back spacing instead? That's usually measured in inches instead of mm.

This helps, however I still need to know what will fit on my truck. I want the 9" wide wheel.

    Right?
You could also argue that all the added weight from armor is adding more stress on the bearings. You're really screwed now.:annoyed:

All bolt ons + tuning solution. Capable of running high 13's.
    Is like cars.
    • Try as much as you can to keep the same factory wheels specs.
    • Go lighter if you can. Less rotating mass equals to less horsepower is used to move the wheels. In other words you can unleash a few ponies. (This has been proven many times, isn't a brainfart from me).
    • If you still want to use a setup with an outer diameter bigger than the factory one, consider to upgrade brakes and changing the differential ratio. If you dont do it, your truck will feel slower and it will be harder to stop it.

    I have a question...

Say the larger tire I'm buying is a 3.7% larger diameter than the stock tire size.

Lets say I drive 300 mies per tank of gas with stock tires.

With the new 3.7% larger tires, say I get 290 miles per tank now.

Should I be multiplying 290 by 1.037 now for a more accurate idea of how many miles per tank I'm getting?

There is not a single multiplier in the world that will change the fact that you are getting 290 miles per tank.

    Yes, going from a 31 to a 33 is a 6.5% increase in diameter, this translates from a circumference going 97.4 to 103.7, also a 6.5%.

I guess that if he goes here https://www.tacomaworld.com/tirecalc.
He can get the % of difference of MPH between his previous stock size vs the new size. That % is the one that he can use to get a better idea of how many miles he really traveled.
