Oh yea. I can't wait to put it on the trail now.

I've obviously backed into a few trees lol. And the big dent on the driver side was a hard lesson learned about trusting someone else's sketchy welds.

I waited another day for my new frame! Also order ball joints, half shaft, motor mounts and calipers. already got new shocks/struts and oxygen sensors.

Just seafoamed my truck to find an exhaust leak. It came from the only part I took apart when putting the motor in, so guess who didn't use any gaskets.

It is the part when the 2 manifold pipes connect to the single pipe going to the cat. Do I need one or 2 gaskets?

My first Toyota Tacoma, bought May 2015. I inspected frame at dealer - rust but no holes. Just after I got it I replaced shocks/struts, fuel filter, one tie rod end, a lower ball joint, drained transmission four times, replaced oxygen sensors, brake pads and rotors, radiator hoses and antifreeze, spark plugs, all differential grease, and painted skid plates. Then I took it in to a Toyota dealer Sept 11 - failed frame inspection, new one on order. Driving a 2015 four door TRD (like mine better). I have ordered new motor mounts, calipers, one half shaft and one lower and two upper ball joints to be installed with new frame. will have a new 2002 when done (also have a Pioneer AVH 270BT on lay-a-way).

Be prepared to wait.. I just got mine replaced. Took it in.. in May and failed inspection. I refused to use a loaner so I drove mine home.. waited exactly 6 months for the frame to come in. Once it came in.. only took them 4 days.

I'm pretty sure Ice Horse has a cool steel metallic. It looks very close at first glance.

That looks incredibly beefy! Are you making belly skids?
