Finished up my Raptor grill and installed it

I think I'm just going with the lowest setting, I am just after the truck to sit like a TRD pro tacoma not looking for a huge lift as I travel a lot in this truck with the family.

 

Nice.. Where'd you get yours? I'm on the hunt for a non-JBL Nav unit for my 2014 but they are hard to come by.

 

Very good. That's my next mod and I'm going with the same shocks and setting. The last I checked the first notch is .95. I'm not looking to go much higher. Thanks.

I have seen your garage in previous posts and knew about the race deck but I am curious to know what brand cabinets those are. I am going to be setting up my shop in about 6 months and looking for options.

 

Just removed my front mud flaps. Those plastic clips are a bugger. Broke 3 of 6. Brittle things!

I think it does look better without the flaps.

 

Installed new radio, rerouted the phone mic and XM antenna.

 

It is tomorrow, and I did put the fender flares back on. The color turned out pretty close. The shine on the flares is not as shiny as the rest of the truck. Maybe after some wax and buffing I can bring the shine out, but from everything I've read I need to wait 30 days before I wax.

 

... and now I know what colors I'll be going with! Damn, that looks good.

 

Washed and detailed inside as well as engine compartment.

 

how do you like the plastidip wheels? considering on doing it ...

 

Just did the rear diff breather relocate mod 5mims ago. Don't need to worry about it now if I encouter some deep puddles

 

I'm about to put Method race wheels on. However, the Plastidip has held up flawlessly for six months now. Handful of automated car washes. Plastidip is a very viable temporary (semi-permanent) way to color things.

My grille is plastidipped too. No signs of damage from bugs or washes.

Took it to NTB today for a balance, rotation and alignment check. Found out that my toe was waaaaay out of check and I was missing the lower strut nut on my driver side. Guess I need to pay attention to those more often or invest in some loctite.

 

There is a line from the edge of the flap. But I've not washed the truck yet either so not sure if it's a dirty line or paint damage.



I'll get her washed before I get the new wheels mounted end of the week I think.
