Yea you put longer shocks so you have to put larger bump stops to keep the longer shocks from bottoming out. I never had a problem with the negative arch. Dakars do run a little flatter than a lot of other leaf packs.

Basically you draw a line between eyelet to eyelet and uhhh like serious because if the shackle is flipped your eyelet is lower and then when you flex your normal amount of it it goes negative arch. And yeah

Really? So if Dakars run flatter and still give 3" of lift, what do the other leaf packs give in lift?

Dakar springs have thicker but less leaf springs where the all poo ones are thinner but more leaf springs. The all pro expos give about 1/4" more lift IIRC than the Dakars but don't hold the weight as good

The eyelets on the leaf springs remain the same relative to the axle. The frame is just higher because you flipped the shackle and the shackle is now in a better position to drop down. So if you get negative arch with the flip then it would seem that you would get negative arch without the flip as well. This is what I saw in my experience. Unless I'm thinking about it all wrong. The shackles flipping does not change the arch of the springs. It just increases the ability for the springs to drop down giving more flex
