Yea he approves he's just waiting for me to drop a glove so he can snag it.

Not going to do anymore skid than you see. It will cover the Tcase and tranny. It's 3/8ths corten so it will last longer than the truck. I bought a trailgear skid but when I mocked it up it was so low I couldn't live with it. So I ended
Up going as flat as I could. Still far from finished.

Today I installed my tacomaworld sticker on the rear window of my bone stock truck... I feel like I don't deserve to have it on lol

Got my truck back from toyota a few days ago. Dropped it off for frame inspection. Dealer said the campaign had ended for my truck but they would take picks and submit them anyway. Guess my frame isn't bad enough, they aren't approving it for a new one. I'm happy with Sherwood park Toyota, they did what they could. Even offered a free oil change for my time.

The boxed part isn't too bad, rusty but no holes. My issue is with the section right after its boxed:

Looks the same on driver side.

I'll have to take matters into my own hands. With the box off ill cut out the 2 rusted out parts and have new pieces welded in. Spray some rubberized coating on everything I can get to after.

How ever many gaskets you can fit in there works as long as it's tightened down. Sorry to hear you committed a crime worthy of facepalm but it doesn't F-ing matter cause we've all be then for some reason or another.

Same frame. Different body mounts for the rear part. Shouldn't affect your 3link

Anybody added trailer wiring to their truck? What kit did you go with?

I have the Hopkins (Hoppy) kit. It just plugs into the taillight harness and has one wire go to the battery.

I honestly have not made much use of it, but it is a pretty simple device and the cable that hooks to the trailer is detachable so you can replace it if it gets damaged. The whole box is pretty easy to tuck up and out of the way.
