Typical valley flood spot. We're at stage 3 flood phase around here. Multiple roads closed. Been keeping a close eye on the dyke behind my house. In the 8yrs I've lived here, I've only seen the river come within 10" of cresting the dyke, never over.

Anyone camped in Sol Duc campground recently? On the Olympic peninsula. Looking at going on the weekend of the 8 of November.

The snohomish is really bad too. Best pic I could find of the launch not flooded versus last night.. Where my headlights are pointed is where the yellow truck is backed down. The branches on the top right of the top pic are practically touching the water

Finger is hovering on the "ORDER" button for an Icon Stage 4 kit...

    I'm tempted. Real tempted.

My OMEs have lasted me for about 60k miles; think they may be on their way out - would be nice to have a comfortable ride to Moab...

Honestly, I'm just in the looking at shiny things stage...

If I were to make an upgrade, I'd be researching it for much longer than my time frame will allow for before I'm planning on heading south.

You guys are incredibly more knowledgeable than I am about all of this stuff!

Do it! It's hard to beat Icon for bolt on performance. Seriously man, king and fox are cool and all, but they can't compare to the out of the box valving on Icon's. Plus, they shipped me parts overseas, for free, when I hosed something up once. I'll betchya a box of beer king wouldn't do that even for Ivan Stewart.

If I had to to it all over again I would still do ICON. Their customer service is awesome.

Hey guys it's time for new tires. The wife isn't crazy about spinning out on damp roads. I've currently got 265 Duratracs which I can replace same size, finally step up to 285s or go a completely different route. I'm open to suggestions

@jeverich has some 255/85/17's that I'd like to run but just bought some used 265/70's. They measure out to 34x10 which is were I'd like to be.

If I could do it again I wouldn't get Camburgs for my front. Probably get Icons down the future..or spacer lift with the amount of off-roading I do.

@Mitch I think any tires will spin on our Tacos. I have to baby the hell out of my KM2 when wet. Maybe some weight in the back will help out a bit.

I've read so many people saying that km2's are the worst on wet roads, I have yet to have my MTR's spin. But I also have a heavy ass rear bumper which helps..

If that's the case, KM2s must really suck during wet seasons. I have an empty bed in the rear now that I took off my BAMF tire carrier + spare. I wonder if siping helps a bit.

Hey all, Socal resident here. Im going to be flying up to Seattle for a couple of days in December with the girlfriend and currently looking at places to stay for our time there through AirBnb and also looking at some hotels. I was wondering if any of you could recommend a good area to stay in. Im not looking for a fancy neighborhood or anything, just somewhere close to everything. Were planning on walking or taking uber everywhere (i might rent a car, but not too sure yet).

Also any must do things in Seattle? Were going to be there December 12-15.

    Thank you

I stayed at the edge water hotel for a night and liked it. Very nice hotel, really good restaurants near by and literally on the water.
