Just ordered a '16 4x4 DBL Cab LB in MGM. I hope to see it by Thanksgiving.
The first thing to replace is the 245/75/16 tires.

On my 2000 Tundra I had these tires running on the factory wheels.

    http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires...R6KO2RWL&vehicleSearch=false&fromCompare1=yes

Anybody running these or the tires of the same size on their Tacos?
    If so.. any rubbing??
I bet they would fit fine, otherwise I'll opt for the 265/75/16 size.

    Thanks !

You guys don't notice a difference with all that added weight of a 10 ply tire? Was debating on getting a set and decided they were a bit heavy so i went with a C rated Cooper at3!

I haven't noticed a thing. They look and feel MUCH more durable and I am not worried about anything puncturing the tire. The only difference is they are much louder than my 245/75/16 Michelin ltx at2

    Stock for now.
I spoke with Toyota B4 going to a 265/75/16. He said any bigger and rubbing in the front would happen in steep turns. But this is in regard to the 2014, not sure if any difference in the '16.

First month of ownership... This month I'm removing front air dam, and also Rhino lining the bed.
BFG KO2 265/75/16. Load E (10 ply) on my 07. Very quiet and mild mannered on road.

Took a big hit on MPG of a couple (2 mpg) but to me worth it for the better ride and performance both on/off road. Besides my rig is uparmored with aprox 1000 extra pounds of bumpers, winch, cap, etc.
No rubbing with this size and fits factory rim perfectly. I call them "pizza cutters" as they appear much narrower then many other popular sizes.

I have BFG KO2s 265/75R16 on my 2015 OffRoad, not much louder than the stock BFG Rugged Fails.

Ko2s: 275/70/17 exists, 275/70/16 does not. The 3rd gen is more likely to clear larger tires than the second gen because it gained suspension height. I'm going to run 285 ko2s on it stock until I can afford a king setup. I expect no rubbing until stuffed turning

I also suspect the cab mount has been altered, there is noticeably less comments of rubbing on setups that rubbed on 2nd gens

I'll most likely stick to 265-75-16 KO2 though, since Costco most likely stocks them.

Yes. I believe any bigger than 265 will rub the wheel well and upper control arm.
