The super gravity casing on my schwalbe Magic Marrys had held up extremely well. I run Tubeless on my DH bike. Sidewall pinholes here and there but very good tires. Granted I ruined the rear tire knobs from 6-7 days of park riding.

Mine was NOT an EXO Maxxis tho. I run the EXOs with no trouble now.

Picked up a pair of WTB Brosons on sale at Performance Bike, $29. Good reviews on MTBike Review.

Great price for a 29" 2.2 tubeless tire. Free shipping too.

I've had those. They shot off the rim when I tried to set them up tubeless. I only had 30psi in when I was trying to set the bead. It sounded like a gun shot.

Nope. I sold them to someone to use as non-tubeless. I replaced them with Continental trail kings.

Does it have ISCG tabs? If not you can rind a BB mount type guide.

    http://www.pinkbike.com/news/To-The-Point-Chain-Guides-2013.html

Here is a link to help :)

Also buy a Narrow Wide chain ring as well. The alternating tooth profile keeps the chain on.

    Hope this helps!!

That's a lot of money for that! Do you have an extra ally threaded BB? If so you can run something like this: http://service.bythehive.com/Guide/...guide+with+an+BB+to+ISCG+or+ISCG05+adapter/45

I've built many bikes and work on mine and many of my friends. Pm me anytime if you need or want and help!!!

I use to work on my bike back in the olden days of square tapered BB. I'm not sure where to start on today's PF30 BB.

My Wolfstooth wide/narrow 30T chain ring has never dropped a chain.

All in my experience have one (at least the ones I've worked on and own). I read something about it helps your chain line so your cogs and chain wear more evenly.

Get a narrow-wide chainring. I've been running the RaceFace ones on my all-mountain bikes and now have the Sram version (They call it X-sync) on my DH bike. Haven't dropped a chain in 3 yrs.

If you're dead set on running a chainguide, the only one I'll run anymore is the Blackspire DER guide. Lightweight, solid, has a lower bash guard to protect your chainring and best of all, no moving parts to gunk up. It's no louder than a guide with a wheel.

Just throw the BB adapter on, whether you have spacers in there now or not. With a single ring up front, your chainline is way off on the hi and lo end anyways, a few extra millimeters won't matter.

This Pivot jumps like a motocross bike! Totally different game from my former race geometry 29er hardtail.
