I've put several HID's in my truck over the last couple of years and they all seem to fit loose in the rubber gromlet. They point real high and i've tried adjusting my headlights to compensate but it doesn't help at all. Is there anything I can do to help this?

What kind/brand of HIDs are you using?

Welcome to TW! Why several HIDs? Because they are not fitting properly? Did you modify your lens to a projector? Putting HIDs in a halogen reflector lens is a very poor practice. The halogen reflector lens is not compatible with an HID bulb, and as a result you get a significant amount of light thrown in the air known as scatter. Not only does scatter blind oncoming drivers, it is wasted light that could be used to illuminate the roadway.

I highly recommend this approach instead for better light output, without scatter:

Are you sure you have the right bulb type for your headlight? 9003? Headlight bulbs shouldn't be lose in the housing. That's a good way to melt something or get water vapor in the housing at the least.

That's fantastic. I'm just going by the Osram Sylvania bulb replacement guide.

    This right here.

Take your god damn HIDs out of your standard housings... you are blinding everyone and get NO better light.

Assholes that run setups like that get flashed like a mother fucker day or night from my headlights.
