I want to get a cap/shell and be able to access it from the interior if need be. Is this in any way possible?

Canopy, fitted seat covers, OBA with self leveling air bags, 100w solar, dual Rhino Rack Pioneer platforms, side & rear LED work/FU lights, CB, cell booster. 7x16 cargo conversion, 3" lift, 7'x6.5' fold down aluminum rear deck.
They do make a seal that goes between the canopy and cab. However, many of the shops don't recommend them since they can cause damage to the paint.

You will probably not be able to fit your whole body through there. A kid could but not most adults. Also, since they raised the bed on the 2016 they had to make the windows smaller on caps so there the window has some support below it. It might be handy for reaching certain objects near the window but not passable with your body,

You can buy this directly from Toyota, no need to mod anything:

I'm not even trolling; you'd be amazed how many pickup/SUV/crossover buyers would be much better served by a minivan, but they are too worried about what other people think. You can even get it with an AWD system that performs better in snow/ice than 4HI in a pickup.

Haha... thanks everyone... some funny replies! My thought was more along the lines of maybe an aftermarket rear window that has a larger opening.

I am looking at the Siennas too! My heart really wants the Tacoma, but my head says Sienna...

Oh no... by larger opening I meant that the slider window would just be wider. I think I've seen some that have a double slider, are wider, and would be possible to fit through.

I want it for stealth... so I can drive around the country checking out skateparks, national parks, moutains etc. :)

Might as well add the 4Runner. It's kinda halfway between a Tacoma and Sienna.

Definitely... although higher price tag and lower mpgs put it at the bottom of the list...

Now if I could only get one of these!

I don't know how big you are but if I had to, I could squeeze through the window and I am by no means small.

My girlfriend fits through easily but she is tiny. I locked my keys in my truck when we were at stagecoach and she climbed right through.

When I've eyed them I thought, if I had to I could possible squeeze my way through... possibly, and I'm not that big... but I want to be able to do it daily...

What is your reason? I would say the best option for you would be to get a cap with windoors on the side. That way you could access the bed from the side.

So I can access the sleeping area without having to get out of the vehicle...

Huh? What's creepy? Touring around checking out national parks?
