Just saw the Vernon Davis trade. I know he has had a big decline, but really? They traded Vernon and their 6th rounder...for 2 6th round picks that will certainly be later in the round given how good the broncos are.

The niners got the equivalent of a warm Keystone light and a used toothpick in the trade.

I actually think it signifies a good move for the Niners. The core that had so much success is gone and/or old. They need to start dumping veterans and re-build with the draft and cheap FA's, perfect time to start stockpiling picks.

Kaep really makes this situation a bummer, if he was still solid they could wind up with the #1 pick this year and trade that for a ton of drafts like St. Louis did... As of now I bet they're going to have to use that pick on a QB.

I can see the trying to stock up on picks...but I still don't see it coming out ahead. Since they traded their 6th rounder this year, they essentially just moved backward in the round. All they really got for Vernon was next years 6th rounder from the Broncos, not much.

It was reported that Davis was not a fan of Kaep and causing some issues... similar to Harvin. You have to get that out of your locker room before it turns cancerous. The Seahawks waited with Harvin because they were still winning, no point in SF waiting.

Well we all know from the Harbaugh situation how quickly SF runs away from any sort of conflict lol

Im fine with SF bombing the season away for a first round pick but what they got back from Den was weak. Its most likely a salary dump. I hate Baalke with a passion as well as York. I think them combined is equal to a box of hair.

    Some really cool shit
Vernon needed new scenery. It'll be a good stop for him. He'll help the Broncos. Manning can float passes to him that he can handle. SF needs to clean house. Unfortunately, getting rid of Jed would be the highest priority, and that ain't gonna happen.

Probably was a salary move as well. Let's face it Davis has fallen off big time last year and this thus far

Just read it too fast on my phone. Sorry guys I'm not bored out of my mind sitting and reading every page of every thread. That's in the past, and time is more and more valuable these days, I don't have the time or money to sit on my ass all day and accurately read every post like Fightnfire

Took the Seahawks a realllllly long time to finally win one.

And now they're right back to mediocrity.

At least a box of hair can have some redeeming value. Look up "Locks of Love"

    Those other two.....not so much

When healthy, those two are pretty much photonegatives. But this is about the teams around them as well.

Tonight, in both cases, Cam is well ahead. Indy loses, likely pretty badly.

I think tonight we'll see a combo of Carolina having a bad game and Luck starting to get settled for the season. Indy wins a close one.

The problem with this is that Carolina actually has a pass rush, unlike Indy. Add in a hurt throwing shoulder and some previously undisclosed broken ribs and Luck's gonna have a baaaad time of it

We'll see what happens, but Carolina isn't going undefeated, and this is as good a game as any for their first slip-up.
