A lot of the bmw guys use the Bosch versions. Foggy headlights are the easiest way to make your car look old. I'm getting the clear bra on the truck soon, I was going to see if they could do the headlights too

When speaking of 303, are you talking about 303 aerospace? Also, what about those lampgards that weathertech sells?

I've found that my local oreiley stores don't carry the 303. Might wanna give them a ring first to save you a trip if it's a distance.

303 is like magic. I use it on all the exterior plastic except for, actually, the headlights. I have a separate spray I use for that, though, I really should use the 303 as it's amazing stuff.

We sorta have two applications being discussed. Interior/exterior plastics (1) and headlights (2). 303 is THE BEST product out there in my opinion (and many agree) for interior/exterior plastics in general. As for the headlights, I've used/am using both 303 and Megs products. I've been rotating them just to kind of compare application (long term results not obtained).

The Meguires headlight protectant is heavier in texture- it literally feels like a suntan lotion that is a little bit tacky when applied. It takes a bit to rub it out. To me, it "feels" like it coats much better than the 303. It's thick. Like a polish/sealer. Almost like rubbing on honey. And the headlights are SUPER slick and shiny after application. To me, it just feels like a better product for headlight application/protection, because it feels like more product remains on the headlights. That said, 303 is AWESOME for everything else.

That's not to say 303 doesn't work on the lights. But I think it maybe won't last as long. It'll likely require more frequent application. If you're a guy that washes once and week and hit the lights with 303, I sure it'll work great. Lots of guys do this and love the stuff. I don't disagree. But I'm likeing the megs on the headlights.

I'm trying to not sound biased- they're both good products. 303 is more versatile. Megs is 6 bucks.

I may order the yellow so I don't have to be concerned with the lens turning yellow.

For everyone who can't find the 303 at their local auto parts store, check your local boating/outdoor store. It's an aerospace protectant spray so it's usually found by the boating camping section. It even has a boat on the label lol
We have a store where I live called west marine that caries it.

Same here. Either that or Mothers plastic polish. I wash my truck AT LEAST once a week, and use a dollop of polish on each lens (headlights, tail lights and upper stop light) to knock off bugs, grime or whatever. I've been doing this for years on all my plastic lenses and have never had any oxidation.

Making cleaning of your lenses at least a monthly must do, will give you crystal clarity for the life of your vehicle.

Won't have to worry about it turning yellow with the Laminx. Still looks as good as the day I put it on...

With LaminX- I'm not understanding how a flat plastic piece goes onto a curved surface.

I also think it will be hard to apply from a flat surface to corner. The lens is not flat and has rounded corners. Bug eyed you might say.

Yeah, even with stretching it seems like it'd be tough to do a good job applying. It needs to be stretched and shrunk in order to confirm to the underlying surface. And there are a lot of curves! I'd love to try it, but... Ha I can see myself losing 50 bucks really quickly.
