I still have not laid eyes on a 2016.

How many of you live in a black hole town like mine?

That's surprising with you being in Cali.

I assumed they hit your area first.

My dealer shows a few in stock, but they're an hour away. Like I said, my town is a black hole. Just got cable TV last year.

Nope. Never. I'll probably wreck the first time a pass one on the road.

They're all in the Southwest. There are a couple on each of the two dealers within 50 miles, and a few on the road. I picked mine up in the Denver area and there were over a dozen up there.

I test drove one. Other than that, nope.
Dealer said he had someone trade their 16 in already.
Traded their 2016 access cab for double cab.

I've seen several car carriers filled with the 2016s. I test drove the TRD OR DCSB 4x2. Nice truck with good mid range power and top end. Low end felt like my 4.0L With the ECT Pwr button on. It pulls nicely on the freeway on ramps. It rides firm but a little like a sport sedan firm. Really quiet inside. I'd get one if it was a 17' or 18' though :D

I had a white 2016 DC pull up behind me yesterday here in Surprise Arizona, with 4.5 million people in the Phoenix area I'm sure I'll see plenty more, the dealers are getting quite a few of them in, the dealer I bought mine from had 9 the day I purchased, drove by yesterday they have 13 on the lot, all double cabs.

That's absolute BS you all have so many and I'm stuck waiting until January for the next DCSB. Welcome to the Midwest I guess. :annoyed:

I'm traveling to Portland to pick it up, but that was my plan anyway. The nearest dealership to me was Seattle, or Juneau. Juneau costs too much to get to, its cheaper to go south for me.

They are selling directly off the truck here except at the stealership that has 2 white trucks $1500 over MSRP. I've seen exactly 3...sat in 2, drove 1...none had the sunroof which I hear is an issue with some people with a long torso like me. Let's hope the truck I have ordered fits me.
