Yes, Vancouver Island is basically full of hippies, failed lumberjacks, retired farmers with French wives but not enough money to go to France, and people who like polka music. We keep them there with it's scenic beauty and expensive ferry crossings. OZ-T fits right in.

Unless you missed the train our dollar is tied to the wealth of the country. Oil is one of the major assets this country has is oil the value of which has dropped recently. When boy Trudeau is done spending his brains out in Quebec and Ontario, the fall to 50 cents will be on him and his welfare cronies and the idiots in Ontario and Quebec who elected a part time school teacher as our PM. By then I would hope Alberta and the rest of the West will be well on their way of separating from the welfare crowd. You will have to find someone else to pay your bills.

That and smart business practices by Toyota Canada. Rather than demographics - I would suggest on an age basis our two countries have similar demographics - it is more about numbers, as in population. Just saying.

    Take Care

The limitations actually worked out for me. I wanted a AC LB OR, manual, and that happens to be what we can get here.

I think it was more likely the 70% of people that were sick of Harper that cost Harper the minority

I like the slush box offroad :anonymous:. My next truck will be shorter than this one and OR, if Toyota forces me into the AC so be it.

Ok well first of all, Canada stuck the US with Justin Bieber....so forget your sob story! :)

Secondly, I want a DCLB with manual transmission. I don't even care about 4x4 or 4x2....I can't get it. I understand yous guys can get that configuration.

Lastly...it's a sad paradox. You don't sell what you won't make available. I remember my dad wanting a reg cab 4x4 long bed in the early 90s. The dealer said they never sold them. He said yeah...because you don't have them!

Lastly...(yes I realize this is the second lastly), I had a friend who worked at a Chevy dealer. They had a customer who wanted to order his truck. Nothing outrageous, but he knew what he wanted. Chevy would not let the dealer order the truck because they said they wouldn't be able to sell it.

No, they can't. No one can get DCLB with a manual in any trim. Doesn't exist. Hasn't ever existed.
