Anyone regularly sip on Pinkus Organic Wheat? I love the stuff but have not been able to find it any store, and only 1 pub. One of the highlights of visiting Dallas for me.

Yeah im MShea805 on there. I guess I consider 3 about a baseline for a slightly above average beer which is hopefully at least what im buying. Anything that I think is noticeably better than that will get a 4 or higher. Anything less than a 3 means I didnt enjoy it and probably feel that I wasted my money.

Made it up to Santa Rosa and and picked up some Pliny. Eating a spicy burrito right now though so it's kind of ruining it haha. image.jpg

Interesting. I don't drink a lot of stouts/porters cause I get way too full but one porter I really like is definitely chocolatey

Had a bunch of bud lights tonight, they're pretty easy to find around here, not like 211 or the ultra elusive colt 45, I really just love a beer I can't find at any old liquor store.

Used my french press to infuse some freshly toasted coconut into Epics Big Bad Baptist Imperial Stout, it was quite good!

It was. Ive also done it with regular Bourbon County to make a poor mans Proprietors blend, thats even better! The press does kill carbonation so if you do try it just use half the bottle or less in the french press and mix back with the regular beer before drinking so you dont get flat beer.

I wish I would like stouts more than I do. I just can't get into them.
